For the next month, our community has the opportunity to support 89 incredible local nonprofits through one community-wide giving campaign. We’re honored to be one of them.
When you support Flathead Avalanche by donating to Friends of the Flathead Avalanche Center, you’re supporting the nonprofit that helps make our work possible. Funds raised will support avalanche forecasting, safety communication, weather stations, and education programs for the community with the goal of saving lives.

Membership helps sustain avalanche forecasts, education, weather infrastructure, and community programs serving winter backcountry users across Northwest Montana.
Flathead Avalanche is supported by the community it serves, and memberships and donations through Friends of the Flathead Avalanche Center help keep forecasting, outreach, education, and weather station operations running each season.
This is your avalanche center, and membership at any level helps support avalanche safety, education, and informed backcountry travel across Northwest Montana.
